Chip Wickham announces 'Astral Traveling', the latest addition to Gondwana's Spiritual Jazz orange 12" series -

Flute and sax maestro Chip Wickham makes a full circle as he lands on Gondwana Records for their Spiritual Jazz orange 12″ series. Wickham is one of the original members of the Gondwana Orchestra, having appeared on Matthew Halsall’s first album, ‘Sending My Love’, and regularly performing with the group. The music chosen for Wickham’s release harkens back to the spiritual jazz recordings of the early 1970s but with an updated twist on the legendary work of pianist Lonnie-Liston Smith.
