Timo Lassy is set to release two non-album cuts on a 7″ vinyl single/digital release following his new album ‘Trio’ on We Jazz Records. Both tracks are taken from the same sessions as the ‘Trio’ LP.

‘Mountain Man Exit’ is a blistering affair featuring the trio of Lassy (tenor sax), Ville Herrala (bass) and Jaska Lukkarinen (drums) in full flight plus Tuomo Prättälä (of Ilmiliekki Quartet) on synth duties. Embark on a roller-coaster ride of a track filled with flips and tricks.

The album track, ‘Orlo’, is edited for the 7″ and transformed into a rough-and-tumble mix that breaks new ground without the string section.
