Labelle set to release fourth studio album, Éclat

Reunion Island composer and musician Labelle has a new album on the way, Éclat.

The new album is the second part of a series of classical music and composition explorations, which started in 2019 with ‘Orchestre univers’.

Spanning eleven tracks, ‘Éclat’ gets its name from a revelatory moment, a “spark!”. Like his previous LP, the upcoming record will be released through InFiné Music.

The title track ‘Éclat!’ may draw the most direct line from the artist’s previous record ‘Orchestre univers’, evoking an otherworldly, cosmic sound, like an orchestra suspended in zero gravity. You can listen to the lead cut below.

The album features performances by the KW Kwatyor Quartet, Eva Tasmadjian (violin), Christophe Boney (cello), and Métavers Quartet among others with mixing and post-production by Hector Plimmer.

InFiné Music will release ‘Éclat’ on 24th January. Pre-order from Bandcamp.
