Rhythm Section releasing new EP from MMYYKK

Minneapolis based producer MMYYKK continues to impress with ‘Divine’, his first release of the year since last year’s magnificent Mellow Moods & Meditations EP.

The track is lifted from his forthcoming Science EP which arrives via Rhythm Section this September. It finds him delivering an utterly infectious number that channels a subtle Prince vocal swing perfectly underscored with thick bass slaps, cosmic synths and a bounce that will get you moving.

Exploring themes of accountability and materiality, MMYYKK blends r&b/soul, ambient, Astro beat, cosmic jazz and hip hop.

The 6-song EP features an array of cameos from artists in MMYYKK’s adopted hometown of Minneapolis and a contribution from London’s own Demae.
