Lorenzo Morresi & Tenderlonious – Cosmica Italiana (TS Premiere)

The ever-growing 22a family has a new member in the shape of Italian DJ, producer and musician Lorenzo Morresi.

Making his debut for the South London imprint, Morresi is joined by none other than label boss Tenderlonious, serving up a limited edition 7” vinyl of Italian library inspired cosmic disco-funk.

The two-track release called Cosmica Italiana is the first taste from Morresi and Tenderlonious’s forthcoming album, which is due for release on 22a in 2021.

Recorded before the first lockdown and fuelled by a mutual love of 70’s soundtracks the pair explore that style, with contemporary analog-sounding arrangements and experimental, joyful “tongue in cheek” sounds that while looking back, thinks forward.

Thanks to Oli at the label we’re happy to premiere the title track exclusively on the site. One play of Cosmica Italiana and there is no doubting their passion for library music.

Press play and remember tomorrow is Bandcamp Friday, so show some love by grabbing a copy!
