Legendary saxophonist Gary Bartz and London-based jazz outfit Maisha are releasing a collaborative album as part of Night Dreamer’s Direct to Disc Sessions series on 1st May.

The third release from Night Dreamer’s essential “Direct-to-Disc” sessions features two Bartz classics and three brand new joint songs written by both Bartz and Maisha.

Recorded and cut direct-to-disk in one day at Artone Studio in Holland, the album follows efforts from afrobeat star Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, and the beautiful collaboration between Brazilian stars Seu Jorge & Rogê.

Combining Bartz’s soulful musical lyricism that’ll stick in your head for days, and Maisha’s soothing African-jazz influences, this track will rid you for a short time of any negative vibes in these difficult times.
