This month marks the release of a lost Sun Ra Arkestra recording – the ensemble’s little- known, first ever performance in Poland in 1986.

Live In Kalisz is an absolutely timeless and esstential peice of jazz history unearthed by Lanquidity Records owners Adrian Magrys and Mateusz Surma.

On this dazzling spiritual jazz explosion the Sun Ra Arkestra are at their far out best and Live In Kalisz is one of those album that’s a joy to listen to from start to finish. We had a hard time choosing our favourite to premiere but we settled on the swinging ‘I’ll Never Be The Same’.

Remastered by Marcin Cichy of Ninja Tune, the album drops on 26th October and comes pressed on both black and yellow limited edition vinyl.
