After releases on labels as Levels, Apron Records and MIC, multi-talented artist Lord Tusk recently dropped two equally brilliant tracks via OTIS.
The two-track 7” EP entitled Tell Me follows his Communiqué EP from early last year.
A world away from his rugged experiments in dub, electro, acid house, and hip hop this new record takes its cues from alt-pop, electronica and shoegaze.
Tell Me is the smoky and utterly catchy title-track which finds Tusk trading vocals with Tyson, while the more laidback Healer intertwines with psychedelic guitar chords, woozy electronics and his contemplative vocals.
We’ve had these two cuts on heavy rotation ever since they dropped online last month; and can’t wait to hear more from Lord Tusk!
