Crewdson & Cevanne set to share their debut album.

Crewdson & Cevanne, the duo shortlisted for the BASCA British Composer Awards last year, has announced their debut album.

Titled BRACE, the record will be released in May on Accidental Records, home to Zilla With Her Eyes Shut, Bambooman and label owner Matthew Herbert.

The ten song LP is a blend of electronic-folk, and avant-pop with an array of field recordings that includes abandoned coal mines, plague stones, NASA space travel, and archaeological digs to mention a few. While lyrically the pair explore stories of old England, modern throwaway culture, haunted forests and Artificial Intelligence.

It’s a fascinating coming together of two intriguing artist – Crewdson, known for his self-built electronic instruments, and Cevanne, an award-winning contemporary composer.
