Dripping with all kinds of fresh and bouncy sounds let Moulay Ahmed El Hassani dazzle you with his modern take on traditional Moroccan styles.

El Hassani has released music in Morocco for over 30 years, and in that time he’s released over 50 albums. Brighton-based label Hive Mind Records has worked with him to pick out some of his favourite songs and are releasing a collection of his work titled ‘Atlas Electric’.

We’re to by the label El Hassani writes, records and produces his music himself, he also plays all the instruments on his recordings and builds his own unique modified, microtonal guitars with built-in phase and delay effects.
