London-based quintet Kinkajous serve up a selection of musical gems for the latest guest playlist.
After their fantastic second EP Staring At The Odds in 2016, the band returned this year with ‘Jupiter’ a lovely composition that straddled the lines beautifully between jazz and electronic.
For their exclusive Twistedsoul playlist, they have put together a mix of current faves, presenting over an hour of various shades of jazz and electronic music.
“This playlist is a mixed bag of music that has been on heavy rotation during our travels this summer. It includes so many elements dear to us in our own music such as the mesmerising landscapes of Carlos Niño, Alice Coltrane and Huerco S. or the frantic rhythm sections of Kneedelus and Toshio Matsuura Group. Many of these tracks have that feeling of getting lost in space and time, playing with the thin line that separates the real from the dream.” Kinkajous
