The next release on the London based label Rhythm Section delivers a sublime six-track EP from Fred Bwelle aka Neue Grafik.
The Parisian-based producer has been releasing music for the last few years on labels like Wolf Music and 22a, sharing a range of tracks that journeys through jazz, house, broken beat and hip-hop.
The new record titled ‘Innvervision’ says the label “takes cues from the broken-beat sound of London while paying homage to the Parisian house dance scene. Largely sample based, but also employing much more live instrumentation than ever before, Neue Grafik’s music is informed by movement and in turn offers so much for Dancers to respond to.”
Listen to the hauntingly melancholic tones of ‘Aulnay’s Tears’ the EP’s closing track – a homage to the victim’s of police brutality in the Parisian Suburb in 2017.
