3TM the trio consisting of Teppo Mäkynen, Jussi Kannaste and Antti Lötjönen deliver an album rooted somewhere in between acoustic jazz and abstract electronic music, blurring the lines of genre and time. A very interesting album for listeners wanting some adventurous jazz music.
Miryam Solomon – Magnolia
London based singer/songwriter Miryam Solomon explores jazz and electronica on her new EP. Featuring contributions from Jean Berthon, Neil Charles, Tansay Omar, Shabaka Hutchings and Seb Rochford this is a project you don’t want to miss.
Children Of Zeus – The Story So Far…
Children of Zeus drop a compilationof new and old tracks as a taster of what’s to come. With their debut album in the works this collection of raw, gritty, Hip Hop Soul music will tide fans over until the full length.
Zara Mcfarlane – Arise
London based artist Zara McFarlane draws on her childhood Caribbean musical heritage on an album that explores her interconnected vision of the diaspora. Produced by Moses Boyd the pair have put together a classy, jazz meets reggae album that often goes to unpredictable places that will have the listener hitting the play button over and over again.
