Kamasi Washington has shared his first new music since the release of his incredible triple-album, The Epic. Taken from his upcoming six-movement suite titled “The Harmony Of Difference” which is due this summer via Young Turks, the spiritual jazz wizard unveiled “Truth,” a thirteen-minute track accompanied by a visual from director A.G. Rojas.

Speaking of the upcoming EP Washington says, “My hope is that witnessing the beautiful harmony created by merging different musical melodies will help people realise the beauty in our own difference.”

The track is a kaleidoscope of sounds where sweeping orchestral strings meet spiritual jazz, hard bop rhythms and a great choir to create a record that is classic, experimental and modern all at the same time.
