Between The Cracks: 5 Releases You May Have Missed

With so much good music coming through thick and fast, it’s easy for new music to drop online and go unnoticed. To help prevent this, we’ve picked five releases that may have slipped past your radar. Stream music from Elsa Hewitt, Afrikan Sciences, Tapeman No. 1, Boogie Arkestra, and Seo. If you like what you hear, support the artist.

Elsa Hewitt – Cameras From Mars

From a solo, songwriting sensibility, Elsa Hewitt builds something bigger: combining ambient, textural haze with meditative sub-bass, it’s a debut record that bridges musical worlds. A refreshing and unpredictable new talent “Cameras From Mars” offers the listener a glimpse into this experimental artist’s musical world.

Afrikan Sciences – Infinite Instant

After blessing us with a new album in February, Afrikan Sciences arrives again with a new EP, Infinite Instant. Featuring three distinctive tracks the EP marries jazz and electronic music which deftly showcases his experimental style.

Tapeman No. 1 – Off On On Off

This mostly instrumental album bristles with an array of sounds from a harpsichord, vibraphone, piano, Rhodes,  kalimba, flute and much more. A solid and creative album that you won’t want to miss.
