Get acquainted with Yakul a Brighton-based four-piece making progressive neo-soul/jazz. Their debut double A-side “Giveaway / Out of the Water” takes cues from the bands Soulquarian and Rhythm Section influences, and they’re a welcome new addition to the growing U.K. contemporary jazz scene. Today we’re showcasing “Giveaway,”  a smooth track produced by Josh Harrison who provides a deftly gorgeous backdrop for the band to lay down their killer jazz vibes. Released by Tropopause Records, a new label from East London whose aim is to provide a platform for artists to fulfil their creative vision.  Peep the track below.
