The British born Jamaican descendant traverses her interconnected vision of the diaspora on her new album. The ten-track record according to the press release explores “the musical possibilities of British-Jamaican identity, it’s a cultural exchange that’s born of London’s current musical climate.” As with anything McFarlane puts out the lead track “Fussin and Fightin” is essential listening.
