How fortunate are we?! We’re thrilled to present an extra special bonus episode of our Twistedsoul Presents… series which sees Colin Smith curate an incredible guest mix series. For this mid-month bonus, we have the absolute pleasure of reconnecting with drummer, percussionist and producer Lascelle Gordon, for his second time in the chair this year.
With a name synonymous with an obscene amount of fantastic music releases for years now – including work alongside The Brand New Heavies, Beth Orton, and Nat Birchall – Lascelle Gordon’s Vibration Black Finger delivered a particularly outstanding perspective of contemporary and spiritual jazz with releases through Jazzman and his own Enid Records. A renowned DJ and radio host, and at one time or another a member of groups including Heliocentric World, Campag Velocet, Le Volume Courbe and Woven Entity – Gordon’s has been a phenomenal career, and we’re overjoyed to host the boundless talents of Lascelle Gordon once again as part of the Twistedsoul Presents… series.
