Silvan Strauss will unveil his second album, FLUKIN, early next year. In the meantime, the jazz drummer has gradually revealed its layers. Stream the tracks below and get a little snapshot of Strauss. A fusion of Moroccan Gnawa, beats, and jazz awaits, featuring guest collaborations with Joe Armon Jones, Oscar #Worldpeace, Farhot, and Mehdi Qamoum. The artwork, like the music, is quite impressive, too! Enjoy!

Swiss trio AMAMI returns with Islands, an explosive new EP with a strong Jamaican influence, exploring the intersection of dancehall, dub, and Afro-pop. Packed with punchy percussion, hypnotic basslines, and raw energy, lead single Wrong Way became a real dance-floor igniter during the group’s recent European tour. The trio has offered a gem; we can’t wait to dive into the rest of the EP.

Returning with his first taste of new music since last year is free-flowing improvisers Peace Flag Ensemble. The collective continues to delight with “The Past is What Changes The Most”. Lose yourself to the lush ambient jazz number, where each note floats like a gentle cloud, soothing your senses and carrying you to serene bliss. The track acts as a preview to their forthcoming album Everything Is Possible.

Waldo’s Gift is well and truly on a roll! After treating us to “Candifloss” last month, this talented Bristol trio continues to deliver with “Malcom’s Law,” a track from their eagerly anticipated debut album sharing the same name. “Malcolm’s Law” captivates with angst-laden guitar riffs swirled above thunderous drums and a pulsing, intense bassline. Stream the track below – it’s a belter!

For a while now, we’ve been singing Florence Adooni’s praises for a reason—her voice and music are nothing short of brilliant! After a string of now highly collectable 7”, the Ghanaian Frafra soul singer announces her debut album ‘A.O.E.I.U’. With the album announcement, she also drops a fresh version of her collaborative track with Jimi Tenor, “Vocalize My Luv.”. Take in the full splendour of the track below!
