We’re thrilled to present another episode in our collaborative project with Twistedsoul which sees Colin curate an incredible series this month showcasing the immeasurably-talented London-based drummer, percussionist and composer, Tim “Chiminyo” Doyle.
Doyle has long cemented himself amongst London’s premier musicians and its pioneering jazz scene. Boasting a résumé that has seen the musician serve as a key contributor to spiritual jazz ensemble Maisha as well as the genre-defying Cykada and the dynamic Uniri quartet, Doyle has further established his sound via his own Ciminyo Sound project which seeks to celebrate the union of jazz with more electronica and club-infused soundscapes.
Taking time out to celebrate the release of his third NRG project (‘NRG 3’), Chiminyo gifts us with a sensational mix featuring music from Quantic, RossFromFriends, Romaal Kultan, Jay Daniel plus some Doyle-helmed gems including ‘NRG 3’ exclusives as well as past Chiminyo treasures and music from Cykada and Uniri.
