Leipzig-based composer, saxophonist and electronic auteur Damian Dalla Torre caught our attention with his stunning debut album ‘Happy Floating’.

Dalla Torre, a cornerstone of Leipzig’s vibrant cultural hub with a taste for adventure, effortlessly blends electronic, jazz, and avant-pop music. Always on the hunt for exciting new sounds, his upcoming album, I Can Feel My Dreams, clearly showcases this passion.

Releasing on 12th July via Munich label Squama Recordings, It is a project rooted between two worlds, Santiago in Chile and Leipzig. Dalla Torre took up a residency at a university in Santiago to write, teach and practice his music. It was there a rush of inspiration, part arly from the vivid colours and vibrant vistas of Chile. Making heavy use of a traditional Andean called the Quena, as well as many field recordings of birds, forests and mountains around Santiago.

The album’s flawless execution and Dalla Torre’s innovative approach combine to create a truly memorable listening experience. The single’ Acryl’ is available ahead of the album’s release.
