Astral Visions by Mörk, a psychedelic band from Budapest, is an EP that oozes personality and a unique aura from beginning to end. The tightness and coordination of Mörk are on full display in Astral Visions, a wonderful collection of four tracks that perfectly showcase the band’s songwriting chops.

Injected with multiple genres, such as psychedelic soul, afrobeat, and disco-jazz, Astral Visions is a creative and colourful album that shines with every featured track. While all the songs on the project are excellent, ‘Towards The Sun’ stands out for its masterful coordination in all aspects.

Towards the Sun showcases Daniel Szabo’s percussion skills, Jason Szeifert’s rhythmic bass talent, the synth work of Damjan Ocsovay, and most especially, Dom Beats’ saxophone solo and, of course, the beautiful vocals of Mark Zentai on top of all of it.

All in all, the otherworldly vibe of Astral Visions encapsulates the renowned talent of Mörk both as individual musicians and as a group. The psychedelic aura that songs like Towards The Sun is the perfect example of the band’s quality and prowess as a musical group.
