Composer and pianist Jan Wagner has announced the release of a new album titled “Energie Braucht Zeit” (energy requires time). The upcoming record concludes a trilogy of sonic meditations on the theme of loss, centered around the passing of his mother.

Across the album he delves into the idea of time, which serves as the bedrock of reality and the catalyst accelerating the ultimate disintegration of everything. What he suggests is that acknowledging this dichotomy is what enables healing. Moreover, it’s impossible to attune to the powerful energies within and around us without this acceptance.

The album features guest appearances from the talented violinist, Tobias Preisig, and the eloquent spoken word artist, AINT ABOUT ME.

“Energie Braucht Zeit” is set for release on 5th June brought to you by Quiet Love Records and ahead of it, Wagner has shared the lead single, ‘Oblige’ featuring AINT ABOUT ME. This soothing, hypnotic and poignant song is not just music, it’s a call to our senses, especially our ears.
