We’re proud to present another episode in our collaborative project with Twistedsoul, which sees Colin Smith curate an incredible series which, this month, showcases the inspired perspective of Moosh Lahav from Moriah Plaza.
With the Berlin-based group’s sensational debut outing available this year through the fantastic Batov Records, Moriah Plaza’s self-titled release was heralded for its imaginative take on “Brazilian soul, psych, bossa and jazz”. As project co-founder, the producer, composer, flautist and multi-instrumentalist Lahav blesses our airwaves with some sensational music paying homage to his own and the group’s Latin inspirations with selections today courtesy of Sergio Mendes, Ana Mazzotti, Astrud Gilberto, Matti Caspi, Sven Wunder, SOYUZ, Hermeto Pascoal Bruno Berle amongst others along with a luxurious contribution from Moriah Plaza themselves.
We’re thrilled to officially induct Moosh Lahav’s selections as part of the Twistedsoul Presents… series and certainly encourage you to check out the band’s debut album via the Batov Bandcamp page if you have yet to do so.
