We’re proud to unveil another episode of our collaborative project with Twistedsoul, which sees Colin Smith curate a set of monthly guest shows and mixes with new episodes unveiled the first Monday of every month.

This month’s installment introduces some fantastic selections courtesy of drummer, composer and improviser, Chloe Kim.

Last year’s deeply personal ‘I Love and Embrace’ project, unveiled through the fantastic UK label Phantom Limb, saw the Korean-Australian artist continue her fascinating explorations through the art of solo performance over the course of the release’s four tracks. Continually enamoured by the art of improvisation, Kim’s explorations recently saw her undertake the challenge of drumming for 100 hours over the course of ten days for the MONA FOMA festival.

Chloe’s selections tonight feature a collection of music from Australian artists, including collaborated works as well as her solo performances, with contributions from Helen Svoboda, Flora Carbo, Jeremy Rose & The Earshift Orchestra, Thibaud Kessell, Merinda Dias-Jayasinha,  Jaques Emery and more.
