Vula Viel announces five shows in October

Vula Viel announces five shows in October.

Bex Burch’s Vula Viel are a trio focused on piecing together the sound of the gyil, a wooden xylophone from West Africa, with elements of improvisation and minimal music. They will perform a brand new live set in October as they confirm plans for five shows.

They’ll play in Brighton at The Rose Hill on the 14th of October, before embarking on the rest of their tour. Ticket links are available below.

Vula Viel is made up of Bex Burch (gyil), Ruth Goller (bass), and Jim Hart (drums).

Speaking about the upcoming gigs over email, bandleader Bex says, “It feels very special to be making music with Jim and Ruth again and sharing it with live audiences”, she continues“so much has happened this year for us all if nothing else I’ve learnt the real importance of something as small as playing our hearts out to our friends.”
