Cinematic jazz / experimental outfit Kinkajous have shared a new track.
Titled ‘Convolution’, it’s the second song to be revealed from the bands forthcoming album Being Waves, following on from lead track ‘Still (Drifts)’. You can hear the new track below.
Being Waves comes two years on from the quintet’s last album, 2019’s Hidden Lines, and sees them blend acoustic and orchestral instrumentation, analogue synthesis and sampling processes.
Led by drummer/producer Benoît Parmentier and saxophonist/clarinetist Adrien Cau, Kinkajous is completed by Jack Doherty (synths), Maria Chiara Argirò (keys) and Andres Castellanos (bass).
Running Circle Records will release Being Waves on 17th September.
