Matthew E White joins forces with Lonnie Holley for a new record entitled Broken Mirror: A Selfie Reflection, due out 9th April on Spacebomb/Jagjaguwar.
To give us a little taste of what’s to come, the pair have shared the opening track from the album ‘This Here Jungle of Moderness/Composition 14’. Stream their breathtaking song below.
The pair first played together in 2019, when White and his band of Richmond-based musicians backed Holly for a gig in Richmond.
The songs that make up the LP where instrumentals recorded by White in 2018 with the same Richmond-based crew, White invited Holley to write and record over those tracks.
