Now, this is the way we like to start the day. If like me you’ve been quietly waiting for new music from Liz Elensky, then the wait is over.

For those that know Elensky is one of those super talented singers who’s been bubbling away for quite a while. It’s been some time since she last blessed our ears, but one of London’s best-kept secrets is about to gift the world with a full-length album!

If that news doesn’t get you all stirred up the album is a collaboration with her husband producer and drummer, Nick Woodmansey aka Emanative.

The album titled ‘The Volume Of The Light’ finds them taking a little detour in sound and is still nothing less than impressive. You’ll also find a carefully select crew of friends, collaborators and musicians including Rocketnumbernine, Tamar Collocutor, The Maghreban, Jessica Lauren, Ben Hadwen, Vince Vella, DJ Khalab, Dan Jose and Deoke.

Since we love both artists, we didn’t hesitate when Nick gave us the opportunity to premiere the first taste Fall In To Me.

The song is a real grower due in part to Ben Hadwen’s deeply meditative horn and bass clarinet arrangement which is proper earwormy. Pairing perfectly with the heavy synth bassline and dubbed out drums which bubble up throughout the track leaving Elensky’s subtle, and sultry vocals to piece together the musical puzzle.

We are thrilled to premiere’ Fall In To Me’. Enjoy the stream below, follow Nick here and Liz here and get ready for the album to be released via Home Planet on 3rd March.
