Late last month Bastien Keb made a gorgeous return with his first single in more than three years, and with an album on the way, continues to roll out new music with ‘Alligator’. 

Entirely written, composed, and produced by Keb, his third album The Killing of Eugene Peeps, features a heady mixture of jazz, soul, and warped funk.

Soundtracked by dreamy piano chords that drift into dirge-like string arrangements, Alligator’ highlights Keb’s soothing tones as his velvet vocals call to mind the closing credits of a heart-wrenching romance.

We really can’t wait to hear the rest of the record, because the two tracks released so far are quite frankly brilliant!
