Composer, artist and producer Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith has announced details of a new album.
The Mosaic of Transformation will arrive on 15th May via Ghostly International, and she’s shared first single ‘Expanding Electricity’ in advance.
Over the ten minutes of its duration, you can’t help but get drawn into by her warming tones as they meet with symphonic phrases before washes of glittering electric peals and synthesised vibraphone take centre stage.
Speaking about the album, Smith explains, “I guess in one sentence, this album is my expression of love and appreciation for electricity.”
The new album follows Smith’s 2018 LP, Tides: Music For Meditation And Yoga, as well as her Electronic Series Vol 1 : Abstractions EP.
