“This planet is like a train station.”

London based label Lanquidity Records are releasing SUN RA ARKESTRA – LIVE IN KALISZ 1986 for the first time this October.

This rare recording of the ensemble’s little- known, first ever performance in Poland comes after five years of painstaking work from Lanquidity Records owners Adrian Magrys and Mateusz Surma.

The ten-strong Arkestra band accompany Sun Ra includes Marshall Belford Allen (alto sax), John Gilmore ( tenor sax, Clarinet ) and Laurdine Kenneth “Pat” Patrick (baritone saxophone, alto saxophone, and Fender bass).
