Mildlife’s new track is a late night thumper

Twistedsoul ~ Mildlife

If you haven’t succumb to the gorgeously funky sounds of Melbourne’s Mildlife, you sure will after hearing their new track called How Long Does It Take?

Much like their pervious offerings this new track unfurls slowly as layer upon layer of wonderous instrumentation are added into the mix. Kicking off with warming Rhodes and flute which paint an optimistic horizon of glistening stars that transforms into pulsating bass, drum and vocal groove as tight as the vacuum of space. As the track pushes beyond the atmosphere, its structure and sonic makeup transforms and adapts ensuring momentum is never lost.

The new release comes with two remixes by Italo-disco legends Daniele Baldelli and Marco Dionigi, the originators of legendary Italo-disco club night Cosmic Disco found on the shores of Lake Garda in the late 1970s.

“How Long Does It Take is an homage to the dance floors and clubbers who championed our music from Day 1,” say the band of the song. “We’ve been delighted to watch heaving crowds burn holes in the dance floor as we close our set with it so now we’re equally delighted to offer it up on record as a late night thumper.”

Electrifying body shaking music from Mildlife – don’t miss this!

How Long Does It Take? is out now on Heavenly Recordings. Buy from Drift or Bandcamp.
