Berlin-based music maker Maurizio Schiro aka Enzo Conoga makes his debut for Wataj Recordings with a funky two tracker.
The two-part 7″ serves up obscure disco infected slices of Latin jazz/funk in honour of the tropical side of the Savannah and the felines that dominate it (check the artwork)!
Everything you hear from the crisp percussion, delicate jazz scales, bouncy chords and punchy bass lines are all played by himself.
This breezy new recording, titled ‘Tropicat’ incorporates elements from funky Italo disco, Balearic grooves, and tropical jazz rhythms, to form the perfect jam to soundtrack the coming summer.
You can grab the track over on Wataj Recordings Bandcamp page.
