Duval Timothy shares ‘2 Sim’ EP

South London’s Duval Timothy makes a welcome return with his new EP ‘2 Sim‘, which follows last year’s album ‘Sen Am’.

The title ‘2 Sim’ is a phrase that references mobile phones with two sim cards to describe people of mixed heritage, dual nationality or multiple residences.

After Timothy was called a 2 Sim in conversation with a stranger while on a walk through Freetown (a recording of this moment features on the record), Duval began to explore what the 2 Sim experience is in contemporary West-Africa.

The four-track EP comes accompanied by a short film/ music video of the same name which Duval shot and directed while making the record. You can watch the visual above and stream the project in full below.

This wonderfully intruiging release is something you need!

2 Sim’ EP is available everywhere digitally and on vinyl from Juno Records / Carrying Colour.
