Liquid Saloon share jazzy highlife cut from upcoming debut album

Liquid Saloon unveil debut album.

Liquid Saloon is a newly formed band comprised of three leading musicians in the Israeli scene: Amir Bresler on drums Sefi Zisling on trumpet and Nomok on keyboards.

The trio has announced the details of their forthcoming self-titled debut album, which will see the light of day on March 1st via Raw Tapes.

The 9-track record (check the cool album art by Raw Tapes co-founder Guy Glikshtein aka Jengo up top) will feature collaborative tracks with some of the best Israeli instrumentalists such as Nitai Hershkovits, Rejoicer and Eyal Talmudi and vocalist Jenny Penkin to name a few.

The album, co-produced and engineered by the band, was recorded and composed entirely on the spot at Bresler’s home studio in weekly morning sessions during three months.

The music across the album is uplifting and contains groovy explorations of sound, fusing elements of African Highlife music and jazz.
