EABS and Tenderlonious both released two of our favourite jazz albums in recent years, and today they hook up for a two-track EP.
Early last year EABS explored Polish Jazz legend Krzysztof Komeda lesser-known compositions on their debut album ‘Repetitions (Letters To Krzysztof Komeda)’.
Titled Kraksa/Svantetic the new project with Tenderlonious is the final part of the dedication to Komeda, recorded straight to tape at Radio Opole in Poland.
This release is also the first new music from Tenderlonious following his highly acclaimed album ‘The Shakedown‘ released in June.
Hit play and stream the lead track ‘Kraksa’ a celestial affair that has two sides as swinging jazz grooves meet magical sax and flute and piano-heavy soundscape during the first half. Taking more downtempo route over the second half the track encompasses a more mellow aesthetic.
