In the lead up to the release of their collaboration with LA-based, spiritual jazz vocal legend, Dwight Trible, Manchester outfit The Gondwana Orchestra have shared a new track.
The new 4-track EP titled ‘Colors’ drops via Gondwana Records on August 24th and features Taz Modi on piano, Gavin Barras on bass, Jon Scott on drums, Rachel Gladwin on harp and Matthew Halsall on trumpet.
The forthcoming EP is a tribute to Pharoah Sanders and features brilliant new versions of ‘Colors’, ‘The Creator Has a Master Plan’, ‘Love is Everywhere’, and’ You’ve Got to Have Freedom’.
‘Colors’ comes packed in a vibrant bright orange sleeve and is the second in a collectors series of spiritual jazz limited-edition EPs set for release this year as part of Gondwana Records’ 10th anniversary.
