More golden vibes coming via Raw Tapes!

‘Born Last Night’ is a track off Jenny Penkin‘s new EP called ‘Him, on the other hand’ and you just need to hear it!

The new record finds the Tel-Aviv based singer enlisting drummer/producer Aviv Cohen aka Sol Monk who creates an absolute groove-fest rooted in RnB, soul and nu-jazz. Topped off by Penkin’s dreamy vocals, this is a perfect must listen!

“This EP is about a process; a search for love, a search for self-acceptance explains Penkin. It’s about overcoming your fears and all the lessons you learn as a young artist living in the city… I want people to identify, feel the story. I wish they’d listen to it while they drive, while they dance, while they’re trippin, while they’re sad, while they’re happy…”

Talking to EZH Mag a few months ago Cohen explained how he started working with Penkin, “Jenny and I play together for Marina Maximilian (an amazing singer and friend) with Jenny on backing vocals and myself on drums. We started making beats together and we found there was a good connection.”
