For this weeks guest mix, we are excited to welcome Aphty Khéa.
After her fantastic first EP back in 2016, Khéa returned last month with her brilliant new track called ‘You Can’t Evict A Movement’.
The deeply emotive track shone a light on City Plaza a self-organised housing project for homeless refugees in the centre of Athens accommodating 350 people, among them 150 children. The project is entirely run on voluntary effort and is based on principles of self-organisation and autonomy, without any paid staff or public funding.
You can download the track to support the project via Bandcamp.
In what is her first official mix, she shares a fine selection of tracks from the likes of Flying Lotus, Björk, Talking Heads and Floating Points as well as crafting some sublime mashes to boot!
Listen to her genre-hopping mix below and enjoy.
