Stream music from Ben LaMar Gay, Ady Suleiman, Glenn Astro & Hodini, Videotapemusic and Wolf Müller & Niklas Wandt. If you like what you hear, support the artists.
Ben LaMar Gay – Downtown Castles Can Never Block The Sun
You can always count on International Anthem to deliver first class eclectic music. The solo debut album from Ben LaMar Gay spans music compiled from 7 albums, he made over the last 7 years but never made an effort to release. Taking in everything from Bossa Nova, ambient jazz, electro-funk and free-spirited psych Gay weaves an intricate patchwork of sounds. This album is something very special.
Ady Suleiman – Melodies
London based artist Ady Suleiman draws on touchstones of British adolescence on his new album covering a broad range of themes – from love and relationships through to mental health issues. Wonderfully crafted, thought-provoking soul music. Don’t miss this.
Glenn Astro & Hodini – Turquoise Tortoise
On ‘Turquoise Tortoise‘ crate-digger, DJ and producer, Glenn Astro and Cologne DJ and producer Hodini aka Hulk Hodn conjure up the perfect mix of future soul, jazz, house, broken beat, and all the bits in between. This is one we’ll have on repeat for quite a while.
Videotapemusic – Souvenir
Videotapemusic melds dreamy pop with old Japanese and Asian VHS tapes collected in dusty recycle shops and closed rental video stores as raw material for his sampling work and video production. It’s a beautiful thing.
Wolf Müller & Niklas Wandt -Instrumentalmusik Von Der Mitte Der World
Top notch Afro-industrial experiments from Dusseldorf producer and Salon Des Amateurs affiliate, Wolf Müller and east German drummer, Niklas Wandt. This one’s pretty special, check it out below!
