Once again ThE DiAboLIcaL LibERTieS serve up a new musical offering that is fresh, inventive, quirky and very good. The five-song set is full of engaging and challenging music that interweaves poetry, dissonance, dub, dance and jazz.
The super talented Nubya Garcia guests on flute and saxophone, and General Rubbish contributes extra words. Stuffed with short, but brilliantly executed left-field songs with “pERi PeRI StaKE OuT” being our favourite there’s no end of delights on this project.
So, a brief but very fascinating further insight into the experimental sound of ThE DiAboLIcaL LibERTieS.
