New age sonic explorer Laraaji returns with an EP of out there meditative vibrations.
The two-track release, entitled Sun Gong, features two long-form tracks that travel through “microtonal possibilities of a hammered gong processed through various electronic effects.”
This short project will get you in the mood for his upcoming full-length “Bring On The Sun” which follows soon. The forthcoming double album is described as “a carefully programmed listening experience moving between sun-dappled floating tones, rhythmic autoharp workouts and his more song-based tracks, with consummate ease.”
