Between The Cracks 5 New Releases You Need To Hear

With so much good music coming through thick and fast, it’s easy for new music to drop online and go unnoticed. To help prevent this, we’ve picked five releases that may have slipped past your radar. Stream music from YAM Records, XOA, Blameful Isles, Natureboy Flako and E Scott Linder. If you like what you hear, support the artists.

Following the astounding success of their first release with Chaos In The CBD, YAM Recordings return with the first installment of their You And Music compilation series.

XOA – Mass / Mon Ecole
Sizzling with analogue synths, slicing guitars, warm bass lines and crisp drums, XOA’s compositions take influence from the sounds of London’s fervent electronic music scene, fusing Broken-beat and House music foundations with golden era 70s Afrobeat, Funk and Jazz.

Blameful Isles – This Heart Of Our Heart

Blameful Isles makes its return with “This Heart Of Our Heart” a spiritual journey of self-discovery. The story of this beautiful album comes from the heart and talks directly to the heart.

Natureboy Flako – Natureboy Flako

Two years on from the release of his debut album called ‘Natureboy’, Dario Rojo Guerra, aka Natureboy Flako, is back with a new six-song EP on Five Easy Pieces.

E Scott Lindner – E Scott Lindner

For his self-titled record, Scott assembled 2 drummers, percussion, upright/electric bass, trumpet, saxophone, rhodes, B3 organ, synths, and electric guitar. He booked a studio for 3 full days, and in that time, the musicians collaboratively wrote and recorded 8 compositions which were then performed and recorded live in the studio.
