Skinny Pelembe shares title track from upcoming EP

Skinny Pelembe

South African-born, London-based producer, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Skinny Pelmeble taps into strains of Afro-tipped soul on his debut Seven Year Curse EP.

Supported by tastemaker extraordinaire Gilles Peterson and his Future Bubblers programme, his track “Should You Go” features on the latest edition of the legendary DJ and curator’s Brownswood Bubblers compilations.

Taking his music into the experimental realms of Afro psychedelic soul this young artist is pushing the boundaries and taking the listener out of their musical comfort zones.

You can stream the title track from the EP below – it’s a bit special!

The “Seven Year Curse” EP arrives on August 11th via Skinny’s Own. Pre-order the release here.
