Joe Armon-Jones & Maxwell Owin prep their forthcoming EP

Joe Armon-Jones & Maxwell Owin

Joe Armon-Jones and Maxwell Owin join forces on a six track EP titled “Idiom”. The pairing both play an integral part in the burgeoning South London jazz scene, contributing to many artist works such as including Jamie Isaac, Moses Boyd Exodus and Ezra Collective, as well as pushing their own solo projects. The absorbing lead single “Tanner’s Tango” features a seriously deadly booming bass from Owin and blistering percussion courtesy of Jake Long. Elsewhere the dazzling saxophone skills of Nubya Garcia float with elegance across the bed of keys provided by Jones. Moving seamlessly across broken beat and jazz this wonderful track is well worth your time. This one is going to do some damage to our speakers! Check out the track below.

Idiom EP is out on September 8th via Yam Records – pre-order from Bandcamp.
