While browsing SoundCloud late last night I discovered Brooklyn-based producer Sigmund Washington had got in touch with a new track.

The song called, Palo Santo explains Washington is “a musical representation of slowly waking, meditating and transitioning into your day and my love for the smell of palo santo.”

Set to a tightly hypnotic groove, Washington creates a beautiful track which slowly blossoms as the song progresses.

Palo Santo is a deep, and meditative three minutes of late-night improvised jazz from the young artist.

Listen below and hear more from Washington via his Bandcamp page.
