Next month, The Pollyseeds, the new collective led by Terrace Martin will release their first album The Sounds of Crenshaw Vol. 1. Martin’s new group features a stellar line up including the likes of Robert Glasper, Kamasi Washington, Marlon Williams, Robert “Sput” Searlight, Craig Brockman, Chachi, Rose Gold and Wyann Vaughn. We’ve already heard the record’s lead single “Intentions” and now they’ve shared another new track “Up & Away”. The sparse track finds the band delivering a perfect slice of cosmic funk.
