Drummer/ producer Richard Spaven returns with his latest track “The Self”. Taken off his forthcoming album (June 23rd) of the same name the song features the soulful vocals of Jordan Rakei.  Heavily influenced by club culture a bed of syncopated chords floats over the 140bpm heavy dubstep drums. The chorus takes us to an atmospheric high while Jordan vocals soar and Spaven’s powerful drums add intensity. With a focus on rhythm and texture Spaven creates a mesmerising soundscape.
