Pye Corner Audio joins forces with label mate Faten Kanaan for a 7″ collaboration via Polytechnic Youth imprint. The A side features pulsing icy synth drones over Kanaan’s New York narrative lending the track a John Carpenter/Umberto vibe. On the other side, Pye Corner Audio offer a stripped down piece in keeping with the label’s minimal synth aesthetic. “In PCA’s Martin Jenkins’ own words: “Faten Kanaan first came to my attention with her wonderful cassette release ‘EP’. We started corresponding shortly after that and I always had it in mind that we should collaborate on something.
